Takata Recall Program Coordinator

The Takata Program Coordinator supports the Takata Program Manager by coordinating and executing Takata outreach initiatives designed to improve recall completion rates. This role focuses on day‑to‑day program support, tracking, and coordination of outreach activities, while also providing similar support for outreach initiatives in other regions of the company as needed. The position enables effective execution, consistency, and visibility across outreach programs.

Job Description

Provide day‑to‑day coordination and execution support to the Takata Program Manager for Takata outreach initiatives.

Support outreach activities including mail programs, third‑party notifications, incentive initiatives, mobile service efforts, and other customer engagement actions.

Track outreach schedules, milestones, deliverables, and action items to ensure activities are executed according to plan.

Maintain outreach tracking tools, logs, and documentation used by the Takata Program Manager for program oversight and reporting.

Assist with preparation of outreach metrics, summaries, and supporting data for internal updates and regulatory reporting inputs.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Government Investigations, Field Operations, Communications, ICT, Legal) and external vendors to support outreach execution.

Support budget tracking, documentation, and administrative tasks related to Takata outreach initiatives under direction of the Program Manager.

Provide coordination and tracking support for Takata outreach initiatives in other regions, applying consistent processes and tools.

Identify execution issues, risks, or gaps related to outreach activities and elevate them to the Takata Program Manager with supporting information.

Capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement of outreach processes and documentation.

Ensure outreach activities and related data handling align with internal governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Data Analytics, Public Policy, Engineering, or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting cross‑functional programs, outreach initiatives, investigations, compliance, or recall‑related activities

Working knowledge of program coordination processes, including planning, tracking, documentation, and execution support across multiple stakeholders

Cross‑functional experience working with teams such as investigations, field operations, communications, legal, data/IT, and external vendors

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously

Demonstrated ability to understand and break down complex issues into clear tasks, tracking mechanisms, and summaries for program leadership

Strong written and verbal communication skills to support preparation of program updates, reports, and internal communications

Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy, documentation, and process adherence

Ability to execute effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment and adapt to changing priorities

Ability to work independently on assigned responsibilities while operating under the direction of a Program Manager; does not include people leadership responsibility

Preferred Qualifications

MBA

Experience supporting customer outreach, recall execution, regulatory support, or similar operational programs
