Flex Security Officer (On‑Call / As Needed)
Location: Oxford, NC
Hourly Pay: $18.00 / hr (paid weekly)
Responsibilities
Answer and forward phone calls.
Direct visitors to the appropriate person or location.
Ensure facility access is strictly monitored.
Conduct interior foot patrols.
Perform additional duties as specified by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Qualifications
Prior front desk/reception experience.
Prior experience in security, law enforcement, and/or military.
Strong customer service skills.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Solid report writing skills.
State PPSB‑issued security license.
Ready to conduct interior foot patrols.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Schedule and Expectation
Flexible, on‑call shifts that may vary week to week.
Work any shift scheduled in advance that falls within your stated availability.
For short‑notice call‑ins, expected to work at least 80% of the shifts called.
Refusal of more than 20% of short‑notice shifts may impact employment status.
Training at various posts and facilities based on operational need; no permanent assignment.
