Job Summary
A Flex Security Officer is responsible for providing trained support across multiple posts/locations as needed. All shifts and days are available. Starting pay $18.50 per hour with weekly pay.
Responsibilities
Train at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need; may work at a specific location for several weeks.
Follow scheduling parameters: shifts, days off, hours per week, etc., vary based on operational need.
Accept shifts as they become available due to staffing needs; may receive short‑notice requests.
Work any shift scheduled within stated availability; communicate unavailability to supervisors.
Cover at least 80% of short‑notice call‑in shifts; refusal over 20% may affect employment status.
Perform duties as specified by Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); read and understand SOPs thoroughly.
Qualifications
Reliable transportation.
One year of experience in security, military, or law enforcement preferred.
Excellent customer service skills.
Willing and able to work holidays, weekends, and in all weather conditions.
Must regularly stand or walk for extended periods.
Exceptional report writing skills.
Ability to mentally analyze a situation, solve problems, and make decisions under pressure.
Can work independently.
Reads and understands written instruction; communicates clearly.
