Flex Armed Security Officer - $30/hr

Job Summary
Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Armed Security Officers (ASOs) in the Akron, Ohio area for on‑call shifts. Positions pay $30/hour with weekly pay.
Responsibilities
Perform duties as outlined in Post Orders and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time.
Work in all weather conditions, alone or with colleagues, during day or night shifts.
Attend required training at various posts based on operational need.
Respond to short‑notice shift requests to cover staffing shortages.
Qualifications
Must have OPOTA 20‑Hour Firearm Certification.
At least 2 years of security experience.
At least 2 years of armed security experience.
Preferred: 2 years of customer service experience.
Willingness to requalify at the gun range.
Reliable means of transportation.
Strong communication skills.
Willingness to work day and evening shifts with short notice.
Ability to pass drug screening, background checks, and psychological testing.
Adherence to professional grooming standards.
Education Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent.
Certification Requirements
OPOTA Certification.
