Trainee Research Associate – M. Pharma / M. Sc (Freshers)

Key Responsibilities
Synthesis, purification and characterization of chemical intermediates.
Deliver small to large quantities of novel chemical entities for drug discovery.
Work collaboratively in a team to drive chemistry projects forward.
Technical and Functional Skills
Excellent knowledge of basic organic chemistry and mechanisms.
Good knowledge of Name Reactions & functional group transformations.
Good knowledge of molarity, normality, equivalency.
Practical experience in thin-layer chromatography, column purification and extraction.
Good understanding of NMR, IR and mass spectrometry.
Behavioural Skills
Interest and knowledge of laboratory safety practices.
Enthusiasm to work in a dynamic research environment.
Basic computer knowledge (MS Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Chemdraw).
Good soft & scientific communication skills.
Qualification
M.Sc. in Chemistry / Organic Chemistry / Pharmaceutical Chemistry or related field, or M. Pharma (Specialised in Organic Synthesis) with 0-1 year project experience.
