Responsibilities
Assist residents with meals, feeding, hydration, and nourishment between meals.
Provide personal hygiene care including bathing, grooming, toileting, showers, and incontinence care.
Assist with ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning.
Monitor and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output as assigned.
Respond promptly to call lights and resident requests.
Observe residents and report changes in condition to the nursing supervisor.
Document care accurately using required forms, reports, and records.
Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA.
Follow professional standards, facility policies, and all federal, state, and local regulations.
Participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current, active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Illinois.
Current CPR certification required.
Long‑term care experience preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Physical Demands
Ability to sit, stand, bend, walk, and move throughout the workday.
Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Visual and auditory ability sufficient for written and verbal communication.
Moderate noise level in the work environment.
