Allure of Zion is seeking a compassionate and dependable CNA to provide hands-on care and support residents with daily living activities.
This role is essential to ensuring resident safety, dignity, and overall well-being in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nourishment
Provide personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, and oral hygiene
Support ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
Measure and record vital signs, weights, and intake/output
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
Observe and report changes in condition to nursing staff
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
Follow all company policies and regulatory guidelines
Participate in ongoing education and training
Qualifications
Current Illinois CNA certification required
Must be 16 years of age or older
CPR certification required
Long-term care experience preferred (but not required)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift
Ability to lift, push, pull, or move up to 100 pounds
Visual and auditory ability for effective communication
Moderate noise level work environment
