Position Summary
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, hands-on care while supporting the comfort, dignity, and safety of our residents.
Key Responsibilities
Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nourishment
Provide personal care: bathing, grooming, toileting, and showers
Support ambulation, transfers, turning, and positioning
Monitor vital signs, weights, and intake/output
Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs
Observe and report changes in resident condition
Complete accurate and timely documentation
Maintain resident dignity and confidentiality (HIPAA compliant)
Follow all company policies and regulatory guidelines
Participate in ongoing education and training
Qualifications
Current Illinois CNA certification required
CPR certification required
Long-term care experience preferred (but not required)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, and bend regularly
Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
Visual and auditory ability for effective communication
Moderate noise level work environment
