Minimum Qualifications

Prior experience in sanitation, janitorial, or custodial work.
Ability to understand and follow safety guidelines and cleaning protocols.
Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Valid driver’s license if required for travel between multiple sites.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification in sanitation or cleaning safety standards (e.g., OSHA, CDC guidelines).
Experience working in industrial, healthcare, or food service environments.
Familiarity with environmentally friendly cleaning products and sustainable sanitation practices.
Basic mechanical skills for minor equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Strong communication skills to effectively report issues and collaborate with team members.
Responsibilities
Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing of floors, workspaces, and common areas using appropriate tools and chemicals
Dispose of waste and cleaning and sanitizing laboratory supplies
Follow established safety procedures and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to minimize exposure to hazardous substances.
Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and report needs for replenishment to management.
Document cleaning activities and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during routine inspections.
