Position Summary
Bridgeway Center, Inc. (BCI) is excited to invite qualified candidates to apply for the role of Early Childhood Care Coordinator (ECCC) for the Community Care Services Division (CCSD) who will work with clients to effectively address clients’ care by assessing needs, developing, monitoring, and facilitating interdisciplinary approaches. This position will provide mental health coordination for children aged zero (0) through five (5), located in Okaloosa County who present behavioral challenges in childcare settings or at home. The Early Childhood Care Coordination (ECCC) program is designed to strengthen the bond of connection between caregiver and child, to promote healthy early childhood neurodevelopment in a safe and stable environment, both in the home and early childcare settings. The Early Childhood Care Coordinator (ECCC) will facilitate community integration and continuity of care through multi-disciplinary staffing and by ensuring families have linkages to their community and support systems.

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related Human Services field i.e., Psychology, Social Work, and Counseling.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational, multitasking, and attention-to-detail skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Requirement
Experience working in direct behavioral health care services
Bilingual/bicultural English and Spanish preferred (not required).
Applicants must be able to pass an Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Medicaid and Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) Level II background check (Clearinghouse Education and Awareness Website: https://info.flclearinghouse.com), National Sex Offender Registry search, Office of Inspector General (OIG) check (if you have previously worked for DCF (including Contract or Subcontract Provider)), drug screen, and Tuberculosis (TB) test. Applicants must be at least twenty-one (21) years old and possess a valid Florida Driver’s License with no more than three (3) points on their driving record to be insured under BCI’s automobile insurancepolicy.

Duties / Responsibilities
Some of the job tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Integrate with and coordinate between all involved agencies. Provide recommendations for interventions in the home setting and link to community services as appropriate. Identify key stakeholders involved with referred families. Determine what services are needed to strengthen the family unit and/or minimize dependency system involvement up to and including out-of-home placements. Optimize care coordination services using telecommunication platforms. Facilitate case staffing with applicable entities. Identify gaps and assist in coordinating the alignment of services, demonstrate compassionate engagement while working with families. Establish working relationships with the Early Learning Coalitions, child welfare workers, Primary care providers, Childcare Centers, and Head Start Programs. Identify and develop relationships with key stakeholders involved with referred families.
