Description
Outlet Operational Responsibilities
Assist with the recruitment, onboarding, and training of all food service and bar staff; take direct responsibility for individually training new team members including servers, host/hostesses, and assistant servers
Support weekly schedule production for all outlet team members
Lead daily service operations to ensure a consistent, high-quality guest experience in alignment with Forbes Five-Star standards
Maintain and monitor the OpenTable reservations system, ensuring accuracy and appropriate staffing alignment
Assist with supervision of outlet-related events, coordinating with Banquets and Events as needed
Coordinate outlet opening and closing with other F&B managers to ensure operational continuity
Attend daily BEO meetings and periodic departmental and all-staff meetings
Support the GM in mentoring the Outer Bar + LiBAYtions team, actively contributing to staff retention and a culture of excellence
Assist with inventory management for glassware, flatware, linen, and other outlet assets
Supervise bar operations in the GM's absence and support ongoing adherence to beverage control standards and compliance requirements
Assist with administrative tasks including menu updates, POS maintenance, and daily reporting
Administer staff discipline in accordance with Wequassett Resort policies and guidelines
Support revenue maximization efforts through upselling training and staff incentive participation
Lead and assist with pre-meal briefings; communicate operational updates and provide space for team feedback
Participate in staff performance reviews and provide ongoing day-to-day coaching
Guest Relations Responsibilities
Support the GM as a departmental representative for the Resort's Customer Intimacy Program
Assist in establishing and maintaining outlet procedures for special occasions and milestone celebrations
Partner with the Executive Office to ensure VIP reservations are handled with appropriate care and personalization
Actively promote and celebrate heroic service acts, encouraging team participation and recognition
Contribute to the development of a pre-arrival outreach program for guests celebrating special occasions at Outer Bar + LiBAYtions
Qualifications
2–4 years of progressive Food & Beverage management or supervisory experience, preferably in a luxury or upscale environment
Demonstrated ability to lead a team and deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high-volume, outdoor setting
Working knowledge of OpenTable, POS systems, and basic F&B financial controls
Experience with bar operations and beverage service
Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
TIPS or equivalent responsible alcohol service certification required
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during service, up to 10 hours per day
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed
Ability to work comfortably in an outdoor or open-air environment
Salary Range : $50,000 - $60,000
