Position Overview
The Banquet Captain reports directly to the Banquet Manager/Executive Chef/F&B Director and is responsible for managing all hourly banquet food and beverage servers, ensuring excellent guest service and maintaining division standards.

Key Responsibilities

Directly responsible for the performance of all hourly banquet food and beverage servers.

Provides ongoing direction, supervision and monitoring to banquet staff.

Coordinate all aspects of room and facilities set‑up, including audio/visual and F&B to achieve guest satisfaction, maintain standards and maximize profit.

Perform additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

Minimum of high school education.

Minimum of one (1) year in a hotel customer service role.

Food safety certification preferred.

Alcohol awareness certification preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to provide legible communication and directions.

Outgoing personality.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally.

Team player.

Strong leadership skills.

Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members.
