Position
The Safety & Security Site Manager leads life safety and security initiatives across the supply chain network, providing expertise, recommendations, and best practices to the Supply Chain Safety & Security Manager and site leadership. The role ensures compliance, hazard mitigation, incident response, and continuous improvement of safety culture.
Responsibilities
Partner with operations to implement and adhere to the Injury and Illness Prevention Plan.
Collaborate with Global Safety & Security Business Support and Compliance Teams on initiatives.
Escalate requested changes and best practices to the Safety Compliance Team.
Anticipate, identify, evaluate hazardous conditions, and build practices for incident planning and response.
Conduct inspections of facilities to identify and correct hazards, security risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.
Work cross‑functionally with site management to mitigate risk and resolve safety/security issues.
Develop action plans to improve safety/security culture and promote employee engagement.
Ensure new hires receive safety orientation and verify annual training requirements for existing employees.
Implement and execute safety and security accountability programs.
Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, vendors, and suppliers.
Prepare and submit security incident reports and support investigations.
Provide guidance to third‑party guard services and ensure proper guard coverage.
Conduct physical security, camera system, and access control checks for compliance.
Qualifications
Minimum 2 years in a dedicated Safety/Security role or equivalent experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.
Lean Six‑Sigma experience desired.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Knowledge of worker health and safety, legal and regulatory requirements.
Experience with fire and safety regulations, ergonomic assessment, and case management.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills, able to handle multiple projects.
Ability to work flexible hours across multiple teams and shifts.
Analytical skills with hypothesis‑driven learning and data‑to‑action insights.
Excellent communication skills and ability to navigate complex organizations.
Entrepreneurial mindset, bias for action, and ability to handle ambiguity.
Integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Physical ability: able to stand or walk in varied weather/terrain for up to 10‑hour shifts, lift up to 15 pounds, work in warehouse environments with temperature variations and noise.
Occasional overnight travel as needed.
