Job Summary
The School District of Mayville is hiring a Head Varsity Volleyball Coach to begin immediately upon acceptance. This position is responsible for coaching and providing direction to student athletes in a well established and highly competitive volleyball program, so they may achieve a high level of skill as well as an appreciation for discipline, sportsmanship and teamwork.
Responsibilities
Cooperate with all lower level coaches and community organizations in athlete development and the implementation of program expectations.
Promote teamwork, morale, sportsmanship, respect, academic excellence and a strict adherence to the co-curricular code.
Develop and implement practice plans, training regimens and game/match strategies.
Encourage students to be well-rounded athletes who strive to represent their school at the highest level.
Perform any other duties related to your position as directed by the WIAA, Wisconsin Flyway Conference, Wisconsin Volleyball Coaches Association, and the Mayville School District.
Preferred Qualifications
Successful candidates are preferred to have played volleyball at the high school varsity level, have prior coaching experience, and possess strong leadership skills. Candidates must have the ability to attend practices and games immediately after school, beginning at 3:30 p.m., and weekend practices and matches.
