Overview
Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel job in La Plata, Maryland.
Responsibilities
Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services, provide direct patient care to assess medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations and restrictions and potential for rehabilitation.
Establish and administer a treatment program with goals determined according to the patient's capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician.
Set realistic and achievable goals for patients; document and record patient condition; educate patients and families in an appropriate physical therapy method.
Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
Shift and Schedule
Shift: 8 hours
Hours per week: 40
Shift: Monday - Friday 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Requirements
Must have graduated from an accredited school.
Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or in process of licensure.
Current CPR certification.
Develop a plan of care for each physical therapy patient.
Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
Collaborates with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
