Responsibilities
Assess referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
Provide direct patient care to evaluate medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and rehabilitation potential.
Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals determined by patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
Set realistic and achievable goals for patients, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families on physical therapy methods.
Develop a plan of care for each patient.
Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of interventions.
Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
Qualifications
Hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy with NPTE passing.
Graduate from an accredited school.
Minimum one year of experience.
Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or be actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
Current CPR certification.
