Job Overview
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for an assignment in Leominster, Massachusetts, with a start date of 05/11/2026 and a duration of 13 weeks. The role requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts under a travel employment arrangement.
Responsibilities
Assessment of referred patients requiring rehabilitation services.
Provide direct patient care, evaluating medical condition, functional capabilities, limitations, and potential for rehabilitation.
Establish and administer treatment programs with specific goals, adjusting according to patient capacity and tolerance under physician direction.
Set realistic and achievable goals, document and record patient condition, and educate patients and families about the physical therapy method.
Develop a plan of care for each patient.
Provide skilled physical therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of physical therapy interventions.
Collaborate with all disciplines to plan and evaluate team goals for each patient.
Qualifications
Must hold a Doctorate in Physical Therapy or a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy and have passed the NPTE.
Must have graduated from an accredited school.
Minimum one year of experience.
Current state license as a Registered Physical Therapist (PT) or be actively pursuing licensure.
Current CPR certification.
