As our 3rd‑shift Production Supervisor, you will lead day‑to‑day manufacturing operations at our Portage Service Center (6750 Daniel Burnham Drive, Suite D, Portage, IN 46368), ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and team development. You will oversee shipping, receiving, and scheduling, and coordinate with the maintenance team to keep operations running smoothly.
What You’ll Do
Champion a safety‑first culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and Tosca safety policies
Drive world‑class safety performance, report incidents, and set team safety goals
Lead and develop a high‑caliber production team through clear expectations, coaching, and recognition
Oversee training on production procedures, quality standards, and safety protocols
Monitor and control operational costs in line with budget goals
Lead quality programs and ensure compliance with GMPs, SOPs, and EH&S standards
Facilitate daily production to meet customer demands, flexing as needed to support the production line during peak periods
Hold weekly team meetings and foster a culture of continuous improvement
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business or technical field preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of related operations experience
Strong active listening, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment
Proven decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities
Collaborative team player with demonstrated leadership skills
Proficient in business math (basic algebra, rate, ratio calculations)
High integrity and ethical standards
Strong time‑management skills with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
Superior organizational skills with keen attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and inventory/warehouse management software
Pay And Perks
Pay: Up to $85,000 annually, based on experience, plus 10% annual performance bonus potential.
