
Supply Chain Operations Analyst

The Supply Chain Operations Analyst is responsible for supporting efficient supply chain operations and inventory management. This role focuses on maintaining data integrity and optimizing inventory levels to meet service and inventory goals.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update data in Oracle, including part setup, categories, and inventory parameters
Partner with buyers to help determine appropriate inventory levels for vendor stocking programs
Assist in monitoring demand plans, including new product launches and product phase‐outs
Support the setup and maintenance of supply planning parameters to meet service and inventory goals
Review excess and obsolete inventory and assist with identifying cost‑effective disposition options
Update and maintain monthly inventory dashboards using Microsoft Excel
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes and efficiency
Support product transitions, including product cutovers and location moves
Validate material requirements and assist with order updates as needed
Collaborate with manufacturing teams to help align inventory with production needs
Identify potential material shortages and escalate issues as needed
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to align planning strategies with business needs
Work closely with the procurement team to assist in optimizing inventory levels
Skills And Abilities
Foundational data analysis skills, with the ability to interpret and summarize data to support decision‑making
Basic understanding of supply chain and inventory planning concepts (e.g., safety stock, demand variability, reorder points)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross‑functionally
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to learning and problem‑solving
Education / Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Research, or a related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)
Exposure to ERP systems (e.g., Oracle) and/or data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is preferred
