
Sr. Operations Manager

The Sr Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all operational activities within the warehouse. This position will focus on optimizing efficiency, productivity, and profitability across various departments.
Shift & Pay
Pay: $100,000.00 – $120,000.00 annually + Bonus, full benefits and paid time off. Base salary depends on experience.

Responsibilities
Oversight of multiple departments and functional areas within the branch to ensure smooth day‑to‑day operations.
Providing regular reports and updates to senior management on the performance and progress of operational initiatives.
Communicating effectively with corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise.
Developing and implementing operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline workflow, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
Responsible for overseeing and managing the financial performance, including participating in daily P&L calls with corporate management.
Monitoring inventory levels, tracking stock movements, and optimizing inventory management processes to minimize stock outs, overstock, and inventory holding costs.
Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
Leading and motivating warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and high‑performing team culture.
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate warehouse operations and address customer needs and requirements.
Engaging in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
Providing the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
Collaborating with corporate to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources (IT, network, etc.) for troubleshooting or process improvement purposes.
Utilizing warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports for analysis and decision‑making.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.
Required Skills And Experience
5‑7+ years of management experience (preferably in a high‑volume, fast‑paced production, manufacturing, distribution or service environment) including experience working with P&L/budgets.
Must have prior experience with small package fulfillment.
Demonstrates a track record of driving operational excellence and delivering measurable results.
Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, adept at communicating, inspiring, and exerting influence across all levels of the organization.
Strong problem‑solving abilities and decision‑making skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results and continuous improvement.
Advanced understanding of Project Management principles and the criticality of deadline prioritization.
Highly skilled in effectively managing a challenging workload, prioritizing tasks, and consistently meeting deadlines.
Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data‑driven decisions.
Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and MS Office.
Familiarity with OSHA regulations and standards.
Preferred Skills And Experience
Experience working with UKG and Kronos.
Experience in supervising temporary staff.
Technical background.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field or equivalent work experience.
