Overview
Supervises employees in a manufacturing and assembly environment while producing highly automated Printed Circuit Board Assembly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Communicates work assignments to shift employees
Implement policies and procedures and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Assists and supports EBWE in continuously improve initiatives.
Ensures effective employee relations by providing employee coaching and development. Resolves employee issues through problem resolution.
Balances quality, productivity, cost, safety and morale to achieve positive results in all areas.
Manages shift performance measures, including visual controls and provides regular progress reports
Enforce Safety procedures and perform accident investigations.
Participate in Corrective Actions
Supervise employees attendance and time–keeping along with conducting performance reviews
Determine, communicate and carry out necessary training of shift employees
Other duties as assigned
Education / Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
5 years of experience in a production environment with progressive leadership experience
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong leadership, communication (written, verbal, and electronic), and interpersonal skills
Effective at conflict resolution and troubleshooting issues
Able to multi-task while still being an effective leader
Comfortable with software and computer applications
Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Prolonged periods of sitting and exertion
Up to 10 lbs force occasionally
Light work: Exert up to 20 lbs. force occasionally
Medium work: Exert up to 50 lbs force occasionally
Heavy work: Exert up to 100 lbs force occasionally
Very heavy work: Exert over 100 lbs force occasionally
Stand for 7 hours/day
