
Construction Quality Inspector

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Construction Quality Inspector to support our Scoville, ID project site.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct oversight of inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and industry standards.
Evaluate subcontractor workmanship, methods, and material quality.
Review plans, specifications, shop drawings, procedures, reports, and project correspondence.
Provide oversight of quality-impacted activities and maintain accurate daily quality reports.
Identify deviations, communicate nonconformances, and recommend corrective actions to subcontractors.
Collaborate with on-site engineers and quality representatives to resolve issues.
Review materials testing, grades, dimensions, and elevation reports.
Approve contractor and subcontractor submittals.
Support data collection, documentation, and field/laboratory testing programs.
Qualifications
8+ years of construction or industrial experience required.
Extensive knowledge of construction techniques, materials, equipment, and engineering documentation.
Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings.
Demonstrated ability to ensure compliance with quality standards and project requirements.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills with subcontractors and project teams.
Proven ability to maintain organized, accurate records.
U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college education preferred.
Previous inspection experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to walk long distances over rough or uneven terrain.
Ability to climb stairs and ladders for inspections.
Frequent exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
Intermittent sitting, standing, walking, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, and lifting (up to 20 lbs).
Must be able to work near construction equipment and occasionally hazardous environments.
Exposure to dust, fumes, noise, and temperature extremes.
Occasional travel required.
Compensation Details
$80,000 - $120,000
