Project Manager III – Infrastructure / Data Center & Cloud Migration
Location: Buffalo, NY (Onsite required – 4 days/week)
Duration: 12–24 months
Employment Type: W2 Contract Only (No C2C, 1099, or visa sponsorship)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead large‑scale infrastructure initiatives supporting enterprise data center and cloud migration programs. This role will manage multiple workstreams across on‑prem data centers, colocation environments, and Azure cloud platforms, partnering closely with engineering, operations, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Lead high‑visibility infrastructure and migration projects spanning multiple business units
Develop and maintain integrated project and program plans across multiple workstreams
Manage milestones, dependencies, budgets, resources, and KPIs
Track risks, issues, and change controls; implement mitigation strategies
Provide executive‑level status reporting and steering committee updates
Coordinate engineering, operations, and third‑party vendor teams
Ensure compliance with organizational standards, risk policies, and controls
Drive delivery using both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum methodologies
Required Qualifications (Must Haves)
7+ years of Project / Program Management experience
Strong background in infrastructure initiatives, including:
Data center environments
Network and dependency management
Cloud migration programs
Experience managing multi‑workstream programs
Proficiency with Waterfall and Scrum delivery models
Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills
Tools & Technologies
MS Project
Jira
Reporting dashboards and project tracking tools
Work Requirements (Mandatory)
Must work onsite in Buffalo, NY (4 days per week)
W2 employment only
No visa sponsorship available
No 1099 or Corp‑to‑Corp candidates will be considered
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $43.06 - $71.76/hr.
