Operations Technical Transition Manager (YPTO001797)
The organization is entering a renewal phase of its managed services contract covering cloud, on‑premises infrastructure, network, colocation, monitoring infrastructure, transversal services, and application management.
To support this transition, we are seeking an Ops Transition Manager to lead, coordinate, and orchestrate the migration of technical services across environments, teams, and providers. This role is critical in ensuring continuity, stability, and alignment with the broader transformation program.
Key Activities
Lead the technical part of the post‑transition phase across all service towers (cloud, on‑prem, network, etc.)
Orchestrate migration activities between internal teams, external providers, and environments
Ensure alignment with transition plans, timelines, and contractual commitments
Define and implement governance structures for post‑transition activities
Act as the central coordination point for all OPS‑related transition topics, ensuring alignment between operational teams, program governance, and external vendors.
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between:
Operations transition coordinator
Transformation program leadership
Service owners and tower leads
External vendors and partners
Facilitate communication and decision‑making across all stakeholders
Service Continuity & Stabilization
Ensure smooth handover from transition to steady‑state operations
Ensure that documentation is reviewed inline with NIS2 requirements and ready for handover
Monitor service stability, performance, and SLA adherence during the post‑transition phase
Identify and mitigate risks, issues, and service gaps
Coordination Across Service Towers
Align migration and transformation activities across network and connectivity, monitoring and observability, transversal shared services, and application management
Manage dependencies and sequencing across domains
Transformation Alignment
Ensure all transition activities are consistent with the broader transformation roadmap
Support integration of new operating models, tools, and processes
Contribute to continuous improvement and optimization initiatives
Reporting & Performance Tracking
Provide regular status reports to leadership and governance bodies
Track KPIs, risks, milestones, and deliverables
Maintain transparency on progress and challenges
Document ops‑transition execution plan and governance model
Maintain migration coordination roadmap across all service towers
Establish risk and issue management framework
Publish service stabilization reports and KPI dashboards
Lead transition closure and readiness for steady‑state operations
Conformity Criteria
Minimum 15 years of professional IT experience, including 10 years in transition, service management, or similar roles
Proven experience in transition between outsourcing partners
You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written). Dutch or French at least C level, the other language at least B2 level. For English at least level B2.
Available to come to the site (Brussels) twice a week, with Thursday as a fixed day
The candidate must be available to start the assignment no later than 08/06/2026
Evaluation Criteria
+5 Years’ experience in the operations domain
+5 Years’ experience in coordinating transition / transformation activities
+10 Years’ experience managing complex workstreams with structured plans and tracking tools
+5 years’ experience coordinating transitions between outsourcing partners
