This organization supports a large network of providers and clinics, offering advanced resources and technology to deliver high-quality patient care.
Job Description
Our client is seeking detail-oriented professionals to support insurance verification processes for high-volume specialty treatments. This role focuses on confirming coverage, securing authorizations, and ensuring accurate documentation to support timely billing and reimbursement. It’s a fast-paced position ideal for candidates who thrive in high-volume environments and have a strong understanding of payer guidelines.
Qualifications
At least 1 year of experience in insurance verification within a healthcare setting
Familiarity with both commercial and government payers (e.g., Medicare, Medicaid)
Experience working within payer portals to confirm eligibility and benefits
Preferred experience with NextGen EMR
Ability to clearly explain patient financial responsibilities, including copays, coinsurance, and deductibles
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a high workload
Key Responsibilities
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits for ongoing specialty treatments
Obtain prior authorizations and referrals as required by payers
Accurately document insurance details and updates within the EMR system
Communicate coverage details and out-of-pocket costs to patients
Process a high daily volume of verifications (100+ accounts per day)
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and support revenue cycle operations
