
THC Market Manager – New Jersey

Craft & Art, a leader in the premium beverage category is expanding into the THC/hemp beverage space and is seeking a highly motivated Market Manager to lead growth in New Jersey. This role will be responsible for driving sales, distribution, and brand awareness across traditional beverage alcohol channels, working closely with local distributors and retail accounts.
The ideal candidate brings strong commercial execution, experience managing distributor relationships, and an understanding of emerging THC/hemp beverage trends within a regulated environment. Craft & Art plans to build a portfolio of 4 THC/hemp beverage brands, making this a key role in shaping early market success.
Responsibilities
Own and deliver the annual sales plan for the New Jersey market, including depletions, distribution, and KPI targets
Drive account acquisition and growth across traditional spirits retailers and on-premise (if/ when possible) accounts
Manage local distributor relationships, including alignment on priorities, programming, and execution in-market
Track and deliver against core KPIs including accounts sold, depletions, distribution gains, and overall market performance
Oversee inventory by SKU to prevent out-of-stocks and support scalable growth
Execute merchandising initiatives including displays, menu placements, pricing accuracy, and promotional programming
Lead in-market activations such as demos, tastings, and consumer engagement events (where permitted)
Partner closely with internal teams and brand partners to provide consistent reporting on performance, insights, and opportunities
Actively work in-market, building relationships with retail buyers, distributor sales reps, and key accounts
Identify market trends, competitive activity, and consumer behavior to inform strategy and growth opportunities
Support go-to-market strategies for new product launches across the THC/hemp beverage portfolio
Experience & Skills
3+ years of experience in beverage alcohol, cannabis, or a related CPG industry
Strong understanding of distributor management and traditional three-tier system preferred
Experience working with retail accounts and driving in-market execution
Familiarity with THC/hemp beverage space is a plus
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
Ability to travel within New Jersey for in-market visits and activations
Must be 21+ with reliable transportation
Ability to lift and transport materials (POS, samples, etc.) as needed
Compensation
Salary: $80,000- $90,000 USD with bonus potential
