Overview
Contracting Officer Representative (COR) position with the Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) in Orlando, Florida. This term appointment is not to exceed 3 years and supports mission success through contract performance oversight, compliance, and collaboration with teams.
Responsibilities
Oversee contract performance and ensure compliance with contract requirements.
Collaborate with internal teams to support mission success.
Operate in a detail-oriented, quality-focused capacity in contract management or project oversight.
Salary, Travel, and Status
Salary: $75,233 - $97,809
Travel: Up to 25% travel
Remote Status: No remote or telework
Term position not to exceed 3 years

Qualifications and Requirements
US citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI).
Employee must meet or be capable of meeting Defense Acquisition Work Improvement Act (DAWIA) requirements.
This position is designated as an acquisition position and is covered by the Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP).
This is a Mission-Essential position performing a Mission-Critical-Function. Overtime may be required.
Employee is expected to meet Continuing Acquisition Education requirements (2 years’ experience requested).
Employee is required to submit an initial and annual SF 450 (Financial Disclosure).
This position is a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program.
This position requires a physical/medical examination. Duties regularly require extended periods of walking, climbing, standing, or bending.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning the acquisition management process.
Knowledge of safety and security regulations, practices, and procedures and quality assurance surveillance measures.
Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, and operation of the DoD and Air Force systems acquisition process.
Skills to interpret data, identify trends, and draw meaningful insights to inform strategic decision making.
Skill to plan and organize staff functions in critical aspects of development and production.
