
Supply Technician.

Key Responsibilities
Utilize spreadsheets and/or queries to support inventories and other requests.
Maintain stock record accounts for ammunition supplies.
Maintain requisitioning objectives to ensure adequate stocks of ammunition based on forecasted requirements.
Analyze results of applying guidelines and recommend changes.
Prepare documentation for the disposal of ammunition residue.
Conditions of Employment
Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination via a completed background investigation.
Position requires a Tier 3 background investigation for non‑critical sensitive moderate‑risk positions.
Position is subject to the Domestic Violence Offender Gun Ban (Lautenberg Amendment).
Position has been designated Mission Essential.
Position may require a one‑year probationary period during which the incumbent can be terminated with limited appeal rights.
Qualifications
One year of specialized experience including: (1) assisting with receipt, storage or issue of ammunition supplies; (2) maintaining documentation related to inventory or disposal of ammunition; and (3) assisting with coordinating or conducting inventories.
Experience may be paid, unpaid, volunteer, or through National Service programs.
No substitution of education for experience is permitted for this position.
Eligibility
U.S. Citizens only.
Male applicants born after December 31, 1959, must complete a Pre‑Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
Proof of U.S. Citizenship is required.

Selection is subject to restrictions resulting from the Department of Defense referral system for displaced employees.
Position is a term appointment not to exceed 13 months; may be extended up to eight years and may be made permanent under specific criteria.
