Job Highlights
Lead and coordinate EU Biocidal Product Regulation (BPR) and global biocides/plant protection registration projects, from planning to submission and dossier defence, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Provide clear, solution-oriented regulatory advice to business, R&D, and product stewardship functions, ensuring compliant and commercially minded decisions.

Develop forward-looking registration strategies for new and existing biocidal/plant protection products, integrating scientific, regulatory, and business considerations.

Manage and steer external regulatory consultants and service providers, setting priorities, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and challenging outcomes where necessary.

Act as an internal scientific expert for risk assessment, toxicology, ecotoxicology, and physico-chemical properties, contributing to robust dossiers and responses to authorities.

Serve as internal expert for non-BPR regulatory topics such as CLP classification, labelling, and REACH, ensuring consistent regulatory positions across the portfolio.

Proactively track and interpret regulatory developments in EU BPR and related global frameworks, translating changes into concrete actions and guidance for the business.

Represent the company in industry associations, expert groups, and external forums, effectively communicating company positions and influencing the regulatory environment for biocides and plant protection products.

Experience / Skills

Master’s degree (MBA or equivalent) in toxicology, ecotoxicology, chemistry, biology, biochemical engineering or regulatory affairs.

5–10 years of professional experience in a related regulatory/biocides/plant protection environment.

Advanced user of IUCLID, R4BP3, Documentum and Power BI, with strong data and documentation handling skills.

Excellent spoken and written English at an advanced level.

Superior communication skills, able to convey complex regulatory and scientific information clearly to diverse stakeholders.
