Foundation Scholarship Program Manager

Job Summary
The Foundation Scholarship Program Manager coordinates and manages private foundation scholarship programs and tuition assistance programs, collaborating with institutional advancement, student services, and external partners to promote and administer scholarship opportunities.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the management of private WCC Foundation Scholarship and all tuition assistance programs.

Collaborate with the Director of Institutional Advancement, WCC Foundation Staff, Student Services Staff, Career Coaches, Dual Enrollment Coordinator, Workforce Development, and the WCC Public Information Office to promote scholarship opportunities to eligible recipients.

Process scholarship application forms, manage student thank‑you letters, collect required documentation, and assist with awarding scholarships in partnership with the WCC Financial Aid Office and the scholarship selection committee.

Coordinate community service opportunities for recipients, track recipient progress, maintain program records, and prepare reports.

Maintain an invoicing system for tuition programs.

Perform basic office duties: telephone communications, greeting donors and students, preparing and maintaining documents for the Foundation bookkeeper, and assisting with Board meetings and special Foundation events.

May be required to perform other duties as assigned, including assisting the agency or state government in emergency declarations by the Governor.

Qualifications

Work experience and/or education equivalent to an associate degree in a related field.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software applications.

Excellent customer service and time‑management skills.

Ability to function in a high‑paced, multifaceted office environment.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Ability to accurately organize information.

Ability to establish and maintain effective and positive relationships with team members, students, and Foundation donors.

Additional Considerations

Prior or current Higher Education experience working with students.

Operation of a State Vehicle: Yes.

Supervises Employees: No.

Required Travel: May be required to travel to meetings or conferences occasionally.
