Program Cost Control Analyst – Level 2
Location: Redondo Beach, California.
This role supports missions critical to national and global security by preparing budgets and schedules for contract work and assisting with financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlooks, cash forecasting and variance analysis. Responsibilities include ensuring adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate expenditure records, preparing expenditure projections, and submitting funding requests.
Your Role And Impact
Set up cost control system, monitor and control costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system.
Support audits and reviews requested by programs, customers, and company management, including fact-finding and negotiation support.
Perform analysis and prepare reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed‑upon parameters and government cost control guidelines.
Perform Earned Value Metric (EVM) tasks including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) development, budget baseline, cost risk analysis/assessment and visibility reports, and development and analysis of estimates.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2+ years of stated professional experience – OR – Master’s degree.
Will consider an additional 4+ years of stated experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with financial analysis or reporting.
Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, or SAP.
Experience with MS Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Business Administration.
Defense industry experience.
Military Leadership Experience.
Program Cost Control experience.
Experience with FAR/DFAR.
Experience with Costpoint, Cobra, Primavera, or SAP.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD security clearance (Secret, Top‑Secret, etc.).
Earned Value Management (EVM) experience.
Experience setting up and maintaining Inter Company Work Orders (IWOs).

Primary Level Salary Range: $75,800.00 – $113,800.00. Salary may vary based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, discretionary bonus, and long‑term incentives.
