Summary
Senior Product Owner with Business Analyst focus. Able to write user stories with heavy Data backgtound with understanding of:
Datamodeling and storage
Build reports with tableau
Documentation for reporting
Translate what the business wants into technicial requirements
Extremely strong communication and executive presence skills
Key Responsibilities
Act as the primary interface between business partners, stakeholders, product owners, solution architects, and development teams to elicit, analyze, and document requirements.
Analyze current processes, systems, and business models to identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement.
Translate business needs into JIRA Epics, Stories, Spikes, and related artifacts, including use cases, process models, functional and technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.
Work closely with Development teams to refine, estimate, and clarify story requirements, ensuring acceptance criteria are fully understood and applied.
Collaborate with Product Owner(s) to evaluate features, write effective user stories, and prioritize backlog items.
Participate in technical design reviews, identifying enablers, constraints, and crossteam dependencies.
Provide ongoing support to Testing teams, clarifying requirements, validating test plans and scripts, and determining whether issues represent defects or new requirements.
Prepare process flows, workflows, diagrams, and illustrations (e.g., Visio) to support and complement technical documentation.
Apply strong analytical skills to support risk identification and mitigation planning.
Ensure compliance with Enterprise Change Management and Release Management processes.
Demonstrate ownership, initiative, and accountability, providing complete followthrough on assigned responsibilities.
Support both Agile and Waterfall delivery models as required.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 9+ years of experience delivering technology programs, with strong emphasis on business analysis and requirements management.
7+ years of practical Agile experience, working in Scrum or scaled Agile environments.
Proven experience acting as a Product Owner or working closely with Product Owners to define and refine business needs.
Strong experience converting business requirements into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
Solid understanding of the full SDLC, with handson experience in technology projects.
Experience documenting detailed functional and technical requirements in JIRA, across various issue types.
Strong ability to partner with developers to ensure shared understanding of requirements and delivery expectations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including facilitation, presentations, and technical documentation.
Ability to work effectively with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Strong problemsolving, conflict resolution, and analytical skills.
Selfmotivated, growthoriented, and able to operate with minimal supervision.
Strong team player with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Intermediate or advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Visio.
