Citibank, N.A. seeks an IT Business Lead Analyst for its New York, NY location.

Responsibilities

Work closely with business stakeholders (e.g., traders, risk management, regulatory control) to gather, analyze, and define business requirements.

Develop and document Business Requirements Documents (BRD) using Mind map, Confluence, UML, Microsoft Office Suite, etc.

Participate in change management processes to ensure that project scope and timelines are effectively controlled.

Regularly communicate with business users, developers, and QA teams via Teams, Zoom, and Symphony to ensure that requirements are adequately addressed throughout the project lifecycle.

Participate in requirement walkthroughs, user acceptance testing (UAT), and release notes publishing.

Assist in designing system solutions based on business requirements and provide clear functional specifications for the development team.

Utilize Jira Sprint board to organize requirements and task status.

Work closely with developers to ensure that the technical solution aligns with the defined business needs and standards.

Ensure the final delivered system complies with regulatory requirements (e.g., MiFID II, Dodd‑Frank) and internal standards.

Support the QA team during the testing phase, ensuring that all business requirements are properly validated.

Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and ensure the system is ready for production.

Provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders regarding project progress, risks, and issues.

Assist in creating project documentation and deliverables for various stakeholders.

A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Six (6) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation conducting risk assessments and providing accurate solutions.

Experience including:

Utilizing Fixed Income Electronic Trading to gather and analyze business requirements for electronic trading platforms.

Performing integration with trading workflows and optimizing execution strategies.

Conducting risk assessments and providing accurate solutions by ensuring all pre and post‑trade checks (price and size) are implemented correctly and adherence to regulatory requirements for FINRA, MiFID, TRACE, etc.

Utilizing Fixed Income Electronic Trading, Financial Information eXchange protocol, and algorithmic execution systems for troubleshooting, optimizing workflows, and initiative designing.

Writing user stories and utilizing Agile methodologies and the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for trading technology projects.

40 hours per week.

Wage range: $179,500.00 to $192,000.00.

Full time.
