
Warehouse Operations Lead

Position Overview
The Warehouse Fulfillment Center Lead is responsible for directing and monitoring the daily flow of materials and personnel across various fulfillment departments to meet operational needs. This role is designed to develop leadership skills in both operational functions and employee management. The Lead will continuously review procedures to decrease processing time, increase service levels, and improve operating costs.

What You’ll Do
Operational Oversight: Prioritize daily work schedules and collaborate with other departments to reallocate labor based on customer demand and strategic goals.
Resource Planning: Plan the effective use of equipment and staffing to ensure the department meets its operating budget and service level agreements.
Supervisory Support: Assist the FC Supervisor with the creation of schedules, department budgets, and operating guidelines.
Performance Management: Write and administer annual performance reviews and use performance management tools to actively coach and develop employees.
Workflow Execution: Process inventory and replenish primary locations as needed to maintain high customer service levels.
Communication: Build strong cross-departmental communication channels with all functional areas of the company.
What We’re Looking For
High School Diploma or Equivalent Work Experience will be considered
Experience in a supervisory or team lead role
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic computer experience and WMS
Detail oriented with a high level of accuracy
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize
Exceptional organizational skills
Forklift certification
Proven ability to coach and develop employees by providing timely and constructive feedback
Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
Environmental Factors
Standing or walking for up to eight hours a day
Frequently lifting up to 30 pounds, occasionally lifting up to 70 pounds
Frequently reaching, twisting, and bending in multiple directions
Ability to perform work in tight quarter workstations
Moderate warehouse noise level
Push/pull a picking cart and/or pallet of up to 500 pounds
Continuous arm, hand, and wrist movement
Work in temperatures ranging from 50 – 95 degrees
The ability to walk long distances
The ability to climb flights of stairs throughout the day
The ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods
Moving about to accomplish tasks or move from one work area to another
Moving objects over 20 lbs in all directions
