
Head Coach – Coed Tennis

is seeking a caring, dependable, and mature Christian individual to serve as
Head Coach for Coed Tennis
for the
2026–2027 school year . All coaches are responsible for supervising student-athletes, teaching tennis fundamentals, and intentionally instilling positive Christian character traits through leadership and example.
Professional Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Prior coaching experience preferred
Able to maintain confidentiality
Ability to relate and work well with students and adults
Solid organizational and analytical skills
Ability to coordinate, manage and prioritize
Personal Qualifications
Personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ
Evidence of spiritual maturity and clear Christian testimony
Exhibits fruit of the spirit in actions and speech
Active member of an evangelical church
Able to maintain confidentiality
Duties And Responsibilities
Supervise all coaches and volunteers within your sport
Supervise athletes in your program including the locker room and facilitate drop-off and pick-up
Organize practice schedule and communicate conflicts with athletic department.
Help maintain the facilities and equipment that your athletes use. These include soccer fields, baseball fields, gym, locker rooms, and any other areas pertaining to athletics.
Attend all necessary athletic department pre-season meetings.
Hold a pre-season meeting with parents and communicate regularly throughout the season with families and athletes
Educate families on the registration and use of Final Forms and Eventlink.
Work with school office to maintain an accurate team roster
Facilitate uniform assignments and turn ins.
Complete any accident reports in a timely manner
Organize end of season awards banquet
Submit any maintenance requests to the Athletic Director.
Be a godly role model for students and assist with the Ministry of Teaching
Observe the Matthew 18 Principle in all relationships
Maintain confidentiality regarding students
Perform other duties as assigned
Physical Requirements
Ability to stand for prolonged periods
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Ability to bend, stoop, climb, and move throughout school facilities
Exposure to outdoor environmental conditions, including varying temperatures
