Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer - Per Diem

Overview

We are seeking an experienced OB/MFM Sonographer to join our Maternal Fetal Medicine department in an on-call/per diem capacity. Ideal candidate must be ARDMS registered in OB with a passion in high-risk perinatology, and have full knowledge of the indications, contraindications, and hazards associated with procedures.

Pay Range

Pay range starting at $49.79 and placement in the range depends on an evaluation of experience.
Schedule

Varying shifts Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM. 8–10 hours per week, typically 1–3 days per week.
In This Role You Will

Provide diagnostic studies, treatment and support to high-risk obstetric patients by performing specific diagnostic tests as ordered by providers
Assure accuracy of test results, reports and equipment by having a thorough understanding of tests and techniques
Have ability to perform variety of OB procedures
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to interact effectively with patients and physicians in pressure situations while maintaining tact and diplomacy
Requirements

Graduate of an ARDMS accredited school of ultrasound
ARDMS registered in OB required
Nuchal Translucency (NT) certification preferred
4-5 years of experience in OB sonography preferred
Experienced in high risk OB ultrasounds a bonus
Endovaginal scanning skills required
Previous experience in an outpatient medical or Perinatology Clinic strongly preferred

Pay and Benefits

Pay range: $48.81 - $73.22. The above information is intended to indicate the general nature and level of work required in this position.
