About the Role:
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for restoring pulmonary function, alleviating respiratory distress, and supporting life through the administration of prescribed respiratory therapies. You’ll play a critical role in patient care across multiple settings.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments as prescribed by providers
Assess and monitor patients’ respiratory statusRespond to acute respiratory needs and emergencies
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans
Collaborate with providers, nursing, and care teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an AMA-approved Respiratory Therapy program
Current Washington State DOH Respiratory Therapist license
Current ACLS and PALS certifications
Minimum of 1 year of experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
