As a process line technician, you will analyze and optimize manufacturing and industrial processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. This includes participation in process designing, troubleshooting, process optimization, process analysis, process documentation, project management, and process automation. You will also collaborate with cross‑functional teams, implement process improvement initiatives and contribute to the overall success of our organization. The ideal candidate will have expertise in various technologies including Plastics Injection Molding, CNC, Robotics, CAM Programming, CAD, Mechanical Knowledge, Creo, Robot Programming, and SolidWorks.

40 hours work schedule plus OT payment, rotating shifts Monday through Saturday with some Sundays. Retention bonus upon hire available.
Objectives of this role
Developing, optimizing and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality and safety.
Identifying and implementing process improvements to reduce costs, minimize waste and increase efficiency.
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure smooth integration of new processes, technologies and equipment.
Monitoring and analyzing process data, identifying trends and proposing solutions for continuous process improvement.
Performing process capability studies, statistical analysis and data‑driven decision‑making to achieve operational excellence and meet production targets.
Ensuring compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory requirements in all process engineering activities.
Your tasks
Conduct analysis and evaluation of manufacturing processes, identifying areas for improvement and recommending appropriate solutions.
Implement process optimization strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce cycle time and improve product quality.
Collaborate with engineering, production and quality assurance teams to implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
Monitor and analyze process performance metrics, such as cycle time, yield and scrap rate and develop strategies to meet or exceed targets.
Identify and implement process control measures, including statistical process control (SPC) techniques, to ensure consistent quality and reduce process variation.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve process‑related issues and improve overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
Lead process validation activities, including protocol development, execution and documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Participate in cross‑functional teams to drive root cause analysis, corrective actions and preventive measures.
Provide training and guidance to production teams on new processes, procedures and equipment to ensure successful implementation and operation.
Stay up‑to‑date with the latest advancements in process engineering technologies, methodologies and best practices.
Required Skills And Qualifications
A degree in Engineering, Technology or related field
Proven experience in process engineering within a manufacturing environment
2+ years of experience as a process line technician in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge of process optimization techniques, lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies and statistical analysis.
Proficiency in Plastics Injection Molding, CNC, Robotics, CAM Programming, CAD, Creo, Robot Programming, and SolidWorks
Ability to assemble and disassemble machinery for maintenance purposes
Proficient in process analysis, process modelling, statistical analysis and simulation software.
Strong mechanical knowledge
Problem‑solving and analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex process issues.
Working knowledge of process safety, risk assessment and compliance with regulatory standards.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills And Qualifications
Experience with process improvement tools and methodologies such as Kaizen, 5S and Value Stream Mapping.
Professional certification in process engineering or related areas.
Experience with process automation and control systems.
Knowledge of automation and control systems, such as SCADA and PLC.
Knowledge of process simulation software and computer‑aided design (CAD) tools.
Solid understanding of quality management systems, such as ISO standards
