Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Pipe Welder to join our team. This position involves installing, assembling, and welding piping systems for industrial applications. The role requires hybrid travel to job sites, so flexibility with schedule is needed. Candidates should have experience working with various metals and welding techniques while adhering to safety and quality standards. We are strongly preferring individuals who are skilled in TIG welding techniques and/or stick welding techniques.
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Cut, thread, and weld pipes according to specifications.
Assemble and install piping systems for tanks and related equipment.
Inspect and test completed systems for leaks and compliance.
Maintain tools and equipment in safe working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
Travel to project sites as required. (Mostly home every night)
Essential Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in TIG, and stick welding.
Strong knowledge of pipe welding and fitting techniques and materials.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
Mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills.
Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in various positions.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
Work Environment
Primarily industrial and construction settings.
Exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and physical demands.
Collaborative team environment with a strong focus on safety.
Travel required for on‑site installations and projects.
Pay
$25-$32 per/hour
Pay depending on experience to start
Advancement opportunities and pay raises available based on performance

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sioux Falls, SD.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
