
Hydraulic Assembler

The Hydraulic Assembly Technician is a skilled technical role responsible for building and testing hydraulic systems and mounting hydraulic components to manufactured machine frames. This position requires the ability to operate various tools and equipment to manufacture high-quality machinery. The Hydraulic Assembly Technician ensures systems are built to the specifications of provided engineered drawings and bills of material.
Full time position starting at $18/hr based on experience and knowledge.
Responsibilities
Build, test, and calibrate hydraulic systems to meet pressure, flow, and performance specifications
Fabricate and weld hydraulic tank shells
Read and interpret hydraulic drawings, and technical blueprints
Assemble hoses, fittings, and lines according to proper procedures
Perform system pressure checks, flushes, and leak tests
Ensure all parts meet quality standards and dimensional accuracy
Log production hours using MRP system
Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety standards at all times
Qualifications and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum 1-3 years of industrial manufacturing experience
Experience operating welders, drills, hose crimpers, overhead cranes, and forklifts
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Be able to operate various machines and measure parts to tight tolerances
Read and understand hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and machining diagrams
Possess strong problem‑solving skills and mechanical aptitude
Be detail‑oriented with a commitment to producing quality machinery
Use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) accurately
Work independently and manage time effectively
Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hydraulic issues (preferred)
Ability to cut and crimp hydraulic hoses (preferred)
Requirements
