Position Summary
The Senior Technician will diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and use leadership and mentoring skills to drive a team toward increased customer care and satisfaction.
Pay Range: $19.57 – $31.62. Technicians earn a flat‑rate, performance‑based compensation model that rewards each eligible task and reflects average regional productivity.

Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair to specifications—including brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non‑mechanical individuals.
Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least three of A1–A8 within the first two years (testing and registration fees are paid by the company; bonuses are awarded for each passed test).
Minimum Qualifications
Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive company and customer vehicles.
Demonstrated skill in brakes, hydraulics, steering, suspension, and alignment systems.
Proficiency in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
Current federal, state, and local certifications/licenses where applicable.
Ability to communicate technical information to non‑technical people.
Strong reading, writing, and math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Three or more years of automotive repair experience, with third‑party assessments or certifications, or completion of a vocational‑technical school program.
ASE certification in at least one of A1–A8 (L1 acceptable).
