Position Overview
Flagstaff Bone & Joint Surgical Center is hiring a Sterile Processing Tech to support our surgical team by ensuring the highest standards of instrument care and patient safety. The role offers a collaborative, patient-focused environment in beautiful Flagstaff.
Responsibilities
Maintain and care for all surgical instruments; prepare supplies and instruments for surgery cases; assist the surgical team as needed; adapt quickly to changing patient conditions during surgeries.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1‑2 years of sterile processing experience
Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program preferred
Experience with all types of sterilizers
Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
