Sterile Processing Technician
SurgCenter Tucson is hiring a Sterile Processing Technician to support our surgical team by ensuring the highest standards of instrument care and operating room readiness.
Responsibilities
The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments and prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum of 1–2 years of Sterile Processing experience
Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
Experience with all types of sterilizers
Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
