Radiology Technologist
Supports the Imaging Department by performing diagnostic imaging utilizing several modalities while following ALARA guidelines in order to protect both patients and operators from excess radiation. The technologist will be responsible for performing and documenting the imaging equipment quality control. The technologist will also assist with all aspects of the Orthopedic/Outpatient Clinic, including rooming patients, recording vital signs and health histories, preparing the patients for exams, and other clinic duties as needed. This position requires travel between various Orthopedic Outpatient practices.
Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiological Technologist training program from an approved AMA school required
Must be registered or meet requirements for registry with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Registry required within 6 months of start date
Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within 6 months of start date
