Major Duties And Responsibilities

Convey a commitment to providing unsurpassed customer service by performing the Sales and Service Process steps.

Support problem solving and troubleshooting.

Engage patients, customers and associates using our technology to support experiences.

Lead the location by setting the tone for customer service and serving as a center of excellence.

Anticipate problems, explore underlying causes, and develop long‑term solutions.

Show patience and courtesy with customers; find answers to unfamiliar questions or products.

Assist co‑workers with questions or problems; cooperate readily in group efforts.

Act as a leader in optical acumen and provide a voice for associates through expertise.

Educate customers on guarantees and services, including eyewear care tips, complimentary adjustments, and follow‑up services.

Take measurements, adjust or fit eyewear carefully and correctly; verify that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.

Strive to achieve exceptional results that align with brand priorities.

Take personal ownership to achieve personal and store results.

Serve as a role model for development and a technical resource for all.

Operate the Point of Sale terminal accurately; input customer and prescription information with attention to detail.

Collect proper payment following company security procedures and maintain proper change for various transactions, including credit cards, discounts, insurance, and coupons.

Show customers where to pick up their glasses upon return to the store.

Take pride in the appearance of the store and ensure visual displays follow company planograms.

Maintain a safe working environment; report potential safety opportunities such as broken tiles or furniture.

Demonstrate safe work practices, including wearing personal protective equipment in the lab.

Basic Qualifications

State licensure (if applicable) or ABO certification in non‑licensed states.

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge of current optical theory and merchandise.

Knowledge of current store merchandise assortment and use of inventory management systems.

Strong communicator and listener.

Awareness of current fashion trends.

Sales skills – ability to use and carry an iPad or tablet.

Comfortable with using technology to engage patients, customers, and associates.

Preferred Qualifications

Actively studying for Certification.

Optical dispensing experience.

Previous customer service and retail experience.

Pay Range: $20.85 - $32.51 per hour.
