Role Summary
The pharmacy technician II performs technical duties under direct supervision of an attending pharmacist, involving compounding and dispensing of medications and maintaining the drug inventory and patient records.
Qualifications
Required Education:
High School Graduate/Equivalent
Required License:
State Board of Pharmacy Registration (if applicable for state)
Preferred License:
ASHP Sterile Preparation Institutional Certification or Similar PTCB Certification.
Required Experience:
1 year of related pharmacy tech experience
Preferred Experience:
3 months sterile product compounding experience
