Responsibilities
The Ophthalmic Medical Technician is responsible for collecting and recording ocular and systemic patient histories, visual acuities, BP, IOP, Auto refractions, Manifest Refractions, performing external examinations, and dry-eye testing, as well as disease specific testing.
What We're Looking For
Required
Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong communication and people skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic
Preferred
Experience in healthcare or customer service
Interest in a long-term career in healthcare
Working Conditions And Environmental/Physical Demands
Standing/walking 95% of the day to perform the essential job duties.
Full body rotation (i.e., bending, stooping, twisting, etc.).
Ability to lift at least 20lbs.
Communicating with others to exchange information.
Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers.
No adverse environmental conditions expected.
Schedule
Full-time, onsite. Mon-Fri 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
