Registered Nurse – Wound Care Clinic (Per Diem, Day Shift)
Position: Per diem, day shift at MaineHealth Wound Care Clinic, Portland, Maine.
Position Details
Per diem position
Day shift (Monday–Friday, no weekends or nights)
Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients with various types of wounds
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary wound care team
Perform wound assessments, treatments, and patient education
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with standards of care
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine
Prior wound care experience strongly preferred
Strong clinical skills, organization, and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced outpatient clinical environment
BSN preferred; graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required
Current BLS certification required or obtain within 30 days of start date
Minimum one year of RN experience; two years of relevant experience preferred
