As a Caregiver, you will play a pivotal role in individuals’ lives, making a significant impact through:
Implement the resident’s individualized end‑of‑life care plan, providing compassionate support to residents and families in collaboration with Hospice staff and volunteers.
Serve as a supportive point of contact for families and friends, offering information, reassurance, and updates consistent with hospice philosophy.
Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA regulations and confidentiality protocols at all times.
Offer food and fluids as desired and tolerated, providing gentle feeding assistance for comfort only and in alignment with the resident’s end‑of‑life care plan.
Provide personal care and hygiene support, including bathing, oral care, grooming, nail care, and hair care while preserving dignity.
Monitor, replenish, and organize medical and household supplies to ensure readiness and smooth daily operations.
Caregiver Hourly Rate:
$18.00 per hour
Caregiver Schedule: 11pm - 7am Thursday‑Monday (40 hours/week)
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
1–3 years of experience providing hospice‑like care
