Overview
Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) • Location: Lake Monroe, FL • Position Type: Full-Time (Permanent) • Shift: Nights (Rotating Weekends)
Responsibilities
Perform and document patient assessments (breath sounds, airway patency, cuff pressures)
Conduct diagnostic procedures to evaluate respiratory therapy needs
Administer therapies including oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy
Initiate, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation
Assist with artificial airway placement and ventilator-dependent patient transport
Monitor patient response and intervene as needed
Respond to emergency situations and support airway management during resuscitation
Qualifications
Minimum 6 months recent acute care respiratory therapy experience (CRT accepted)
NBRC credential (RRT preferred) with active state licensure
Associate's degree from an AMA-approved respiratory care program
Certifications required:
BLS (within 30 days)
ACLS, PALS, NRP (within 6 months of hire)
